RUSSELL CHATHAM. - Dark Waters: Essays, Stories and Articles.
Livingston, Montana. Clark City Press. 1991 [1988]. Second printing. Octavo (9 x 7). 208 pp. Illustrated by the author. Black and white photos. Foreword by Nick Lyons. Compelling, interesting stories penned by a master writer. No other west coast writer has captured and expressed in such absorbing language fly fishing for salmon, steelhead and stripers as has Russ Chatham. The black and white photo on the front cover was taken by Russ of his friend Guy de la Valdene during a successful salmon fly fishing trip to Iceland. If you would like to read about the adventure from Guy’s point-of-view, read his book "On the Water." The book is bound in pictorial wrappers with white titles. Just a touch of edge wear, otherwise a fine book.
